Chapter History

In 2014, three lovely women at the Johns Hopkins University came together with the dream of establishing an organization on campus that promoted academic excellence, leadership, community service, and Latino culture through sisterhood. These three women found Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Incorporada to be the perfect fit and in the Spring of 2014, they underwent the membership process. On April 19, 2014, the women of "Las Trinitarias Ardientes" became the founding Hermanas of the Beta Zeta Chapter at the Johns Hopkins University.
